Day 1.

Meeting of the group at the railway station of Ivano-Frankivsk.

Yavoriv-Sheshory-Kolomyia

Yavoriv invites you to enjoy the variety of Hutsul folk crafts. Here, almost every family is engaged in manufacturing products from warm sheep's wool. Ancient traditional ornaments, wooden machines, family traditions of weaving unique Hutsul bedspreads are shown by the best folk masters. Here you can see the process of production of lizhnics (traditional warm blankets made of sheep wool) from spinning wool to the first pattern. You will have the possibility of buying unique warm clothes made of wool, special pillows, interesting souvenirs (entrance tickets).

There is also a possibility of  visiting the trout farm for lunch, in order to catch your own fish and taste it with “kulesh”( special national homemade dish).

Fascinating cascading Silver Falls are located in the small village of Sheshory in the Carpathian mountains. It was their beauty that inspired the local author to write the famous folk song "Hutsulka Ksenia".

The history of the city of Kolomyia dates back to the 12th century, when salt deposits were found there and Kolomyia became an important salt-trading center. A settlement appeared near the mines, and eventually grew into a city and even dominated Lviv with its fairs. Modern Kolomyia is well known for its unusual Pysanka Museum. Here is a huge collection of Easter eggs from all the regions of Ukraine, embroidered and decorated in various techniques: with threads, beads, seeds and straws (entrance ticket). Kolomyia is a place where the largest Greek Catholic cathedral in western Ukraine is situated, which seats 5,000 people.

Day 2.

Walking tour of  Ivano-Frankivsk - the center of the Prykarpattia region. We will start exploring Ivano-Frankivsk from the largest monument to Ivan Franko, which is located near the Nadiya Hotel.  Ivan Franko Academic Regional Music and Drama Theater (the author of the project D. Sosnovy, the artists V. Vilshuki , V. Shevchuk, the carpenter M. Ovchar received the National Shevchenko Prize for the unique interior made in Hutsul style). You will walk around the central Market square where The Town Hall, lots of shops and cafes are situated(at the end of the tour there is a possibility to climb to the viewing  platform in the top part of the Town Hall (entrance ticket 20 UAH 1 / person) . You will also see Viche Maidan with the largest fountain in the city, the Central building of the Medical Academy, which was built in an eclectic style and has a lovely courtyard inside, a small but very cozy and comfortable park nearby with a monument to Adam Mickiewicz and Ruska Trojca. The Bastion Art Gallery deserves special attention, there you can see the exhibitions of original and unique wrought iron products and paintings, buy interesting souvenirs, and get to know how the glorious city of  Stanislaviv was built according  to the project of the famous Italian engineer Fransua Corassini. Lots of original wrought iron sculptures decorate the city and are the remarkably reminiscent of the International Blacksmith Festivals that takes place each year. During the tour you will visit the old temples, the Cathedral of the Holy Resurrection, which is decorated with a five-tiered iconostasis, the Armenian Church, the synagogue.

Bus tour to Halych - a small but cozy and comfortable town where the river Lukva flows into the river Dnister. It was once the center of the Kingdom of Galicia–Volhynia - the most powerful fortress in the southwestern ancient lands, the first mention of which dates back to 898. The unique atmosphere of the city is created by numerous historical monuments, including the Nativity church (14th–15th century), the monument to King Danylo, the ruins of the Galician Castle from the 14th century, located on Castle Hill, which offers a magnificent panorama of the surrounding area.

Visiting the Museum of Nature and the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. The unique ecosystem is preserved in the Galician region and is successfully presented in the Museum of Nature. The Wildlife Rehabilitation Center is located nearby. Bears, wolves, foxes, mouflons, peacocks and wild birds are there.
